Calling all Jam Makers
Sustainable Wells will be celebrating local produce at this year’s Wells Food Festival in the ‘Food for Thought’ Marquee – a tent full of fun, facts and food! As one of the events, we’re holding a light-hearted contest for amateur preserve makers. Deliver your best jar of jam, jelly or chutney, made predominantly with local ingredients (maximum of one one jar of each per entrant) to Beah’s Restaurant, 2 Union Street, Wells, BA5 1PU by 2 pm on Tuesday October 4th. Jars should only be labelled with the type of preserve and the date it was made. All entries will be displayed at the Festival and then auctioned to raise funds for local sustainability projects. www.beah.co.uk/
